In short: You own what you create. Use Petra lawfully and respectfully. Share with care, because a person who receives a keepsake may keep their own copy.
1. Using Petra
By using Petra, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You may use Petra only if you can lawfully enter into this agreement and comply with applicable law.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your login credentials secure. You are also responsible for activity that happens through your account.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the postcards, letters, journals, photos, recordings, signatures, and other content you create in Petra.
You give Petra a limited license to host, store, process, display, and deliver your content only as needed to operate the service and honor the actions you take inside it.
4. Sending and sharing
You are responsible for choosing the people you send keepsakes to and for using share links carefully. A person with a valid share link may be able to open the linked keepsake until that link expires or is revoked.
If someone receives a keepsake through Petra, they may keep their own received copy in their collection even if you later delete your own account.
5. Contacts and invitations
You may only upload, use, or invite contact details that you are allowed to use. Do not use Petra to spam, harass, mislead, impersonate, or send content that violates another person's rights.
6. Groupsakes
When you create or contribute to a Groupsake, you are responsible for the content you submit and for the people with whom you share the invitation link. Contributions may be visible within that Groupsake experience to people who have access to it.
7. Respectful use
You may not misuse Petra, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious content, or use the service in a way that harms Petra or other people.
8. Beta service
Petra is evolving. Features may change, improve, or occasionally be unavailable while we continue building the service.
9. Account closure
You may delete your Petra account. When you do, Petra deletes the account profile, profile photo, and keepsakes saved in that account. Keepsakes already delivered to another person may remain in that person's collection because they received their own copy.
10. Petra's materials
Petra's name, brand, designs, software, and templates remain Petra's property. These Terms do not give you ownership of Petra's service or materials.
11. Service limits
We work to keep Petra available and dependable, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every feature will always remain unchanged.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Petra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Petra grows. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and take reasonable steps to let users know.
